Hiiiiiiiii! I'm Kathryn. I'm a 31 year old mom and wife who was born and raised in Alabama.
I love to draw and doodle. Sometimes my drawings turn out ok and sometimes they turn out like shit, but they are always unique.
Recently, I started having fun with pop culture illustrations. It's been a nice mental escape from the shitshow of 2020. I started sharing some of my drawings on Facebook, and then my husband, James, started pitching me ideas for all of these different pop culture drawings... and that's basically how Murder, She Bought was born. He came up with the name. We are Angela Lansbury stans here.
I do all of the illustrations and come up with some of the ideas, and James is strictly an idea guy. This is him in Illustration form:
I'm just going to level with you, I'm a fucking mess. I put all of my energy into my children and I have very little energy left to spare for anything else. I've started a few businesses since becoming a mom -- both TOTALLY unrelated to this -- and both took off way faster than I ever imagined and I got to a point where I was working 80+ hour weeks and hardly had any time with my family. I had to significantly cut back on hours and due to certain life circumstances the demand was too high for me to handle single handedly. This is why I decided to start a print on demand business, so all I have to do is upload the artwork and Printful will handle the rest!!
